CREATIVE WRITING
Mr Fied is a collector. But not just any collector. Mr Fied is a collector of stories. For 50 years, he has travelled the world on his motorbike, with his battered little suitcase in a sidecar, collecting weird and wonderful tales from the people he has met along the way. These have been stories of adventure, horror, love, stories that make you laugh so much you cry and some that make you cry so much you end up laughing! On his last trip around the world he discovered something very sad - that grown ups have stopped telling stories! They all say that they are too busy for adventures, even though most of them just seem to spend their time looking at their phones.
Mr Fied has decided to take action! He needs to find a new generation of storytellers and so has gathered you here to teach you the art of creating brilliant stories. He believes that the best stories are the ones where you feel like you could just dive right into them and that is exactly what he wants you all to do.
In this fabulously fun workshop, students are encouraged to invent and explore as they are led through a series of games and activities to help them to generate ideas, build on them and get them down onto the page.
